I'm tired of looking for buffets! I'll find one that can fit the dishes but there are no drawers for my silver. And what about about my other pieces..like my party ware?!!! It's like furniture companies are trying to save on wood or something.
I really like this piece...and may shop it around for a custom build...If I can find a really good carpernter/woodworker who won't charge out the wazoo. I really like it. It's rustic and substantial. The chicken wire is unconventional.
My parents have a condo in the French Quarter...their neighbors have chicken wire for the fronts of their kitchen cabinets. It's the most imaginative thing I've seen. The owner said the idea just came to her and she went with it. I love it.
