Seeing what each other is into now-a-days. Clothes, perfumes, hairstyles, it all makes for great inspiration and can help breathe new life into your existing wardrobe.
This past November when I saw some old friends, Kit, my sister's "nearest and dearest" told us about a pair of Lanvin tennis that captivated her when she saw them on "That-Bitch-Olivia" aka Olivia Palermo.
I had not thought about tennis shoes as a wardrobe "must" in years.
Not since my days of Air Max's, Tretorn and the like had I lusted after a tennis shoe. Funny how your life goes from one extreme to the other. But nowadays, if I'm wearing a pair of tennis it's usually because I'm moving furniture or walking in the Crescent City Classic.
Adding also the age factor...I'd convinced myself that I may be too old to do a cute tennis look. Outside of my Adidas "Stan Smith's" (which is a must), I figured there were no "grown women" tennis.
Kit and Michelle Obama, proved me wrong. Yes, I said "MICHELLE OBAMA".
GO MICHELLE! Wearing them to a fundraiser, no less. Making sure to piss everybody off. Gotta love it.
Very, Very cute! (that bitch!)
Purchasing these are not for the faint of heart. They'll run you well over $500 bucks...but I found these baby's (and a few others) on sale on Kirna Zabete
PROENZA SCHOULER
Don't you just love they way those two words roll off your lips.
I think the PS1 wallet would make a lovely Christmas gift to yourself. At $165 it's not way, way expensive...and it's a little piece of eye candy for other folks to salivate over everytime your pull it out your purse...even if your purse does not bear the same namesake. But if you want to go balls to the wall....the this is the purse you must have. Isn't it BE-A-UTIFUL?!!!!
I did some digging about the wallet b/c I wasn't sure how big, how long, etc... So I tortured myself by going to Purseblog (where everyone post their new purchases) and someone took the time to post pics of the wallet and their gorgeous PS1Medium shoulder bag.
And just because, I can't get enough of seeing items in action....
